Our day trip will take you on a crafted journey through some of the most stunning spots of Sydney’s South Coast. We'll start our adventure with breathtaking coastal views along the peaceful shores of the Illawarra coastline. Inhale the clean, coastal salt air as you walk along the Sea Cliff Bridge, with waves crashing below and amazing views all around.

As we drive along the Grand Pacific Drive, you'll be treated to jaw-dropping scenes of cliffs and coastline. Keep your eyes peeled for the incredible whales that migrate through these waters between May and November at Sea Cliff Bridge or at our Minnamurra coast walk. Imagine spotting these majestic creatures in their natural habitat—it's a sight you'll never forget!

Next stop: Kiama! Get ready to be amazed by the powerful Kiama Blowhole, where you can feel the ocean's roar and see water shoot up into the sky. We'll also visit charming rural towns, learn all about Australia's fascinating history.

    • Depart Sydney and drive for 65 minutes to Coastal Lookout above the Illawarra coast ( 25 minutes)
    • Walk along Sea Cliff Bridge (30 minutes). Spot whales from here, May–November
    • Dramatic basalt cliffs coastal walk at Minnamurra (45 minutes) Spot whales from here May–November
    • Lunch  (40 minutes)
    • Drive for 10 minutes to Kiama Blow Hole and Coastal walk (30 minutes). Spot whales from here May - November
    • Forty-minute drive to hinterland views from Saddleback Mountain with wildlife spotting
    • Rural country town stop at historic Jamberoo village (10 minutes)
    • Illawarra coast beach stop to wander the rock platforms, the rock pools and ocean swell (30 minutes)
    • Return scenic coastal drive including Sea Cliff Bridge and Stanwell Tops
    • Then 40-minute drive through the tall eucalypt tress of the Royal National Park and rest up during our return drive back to Sydney
